The Course

The Short Course is a 5 week flipped classroom, providing weekly online video, reading content, with homework assignments. Fellows work at their own pace prior to the weekly virtual interactive discussions with the content experts.

Topics include Customer Discovery, Product/Market/Fit, the FDA Process, Building Partnerships and Pitching Your Solution.

Outcome

Fellows complete the program with an investor pitch, clear definition of the problem they are solving, and how they are uniquely solving it. They also gain knowledge of the FDA process, and the Small Business Innovation Research funding process. They’ve also gained a significant network of other fellows, investors, and stakeholders in solving this crucial set of problems.

Participants

Each year, about 30 extraordinary applicants are selected to take part in this program. Successful applicants are curious and committed innovators who are interested in both exploring what it takes to bring a product to market and applying creative solutions to combat substance misbuse and mental health issues through the use of pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, biomedical devices, app development, and Digiceuticals.
